Two New Stops Added to Plainfield Pace Route

Route 755 runs Monday through Friday, originating at the Plainfield Park-N-Ride on Village Center Drive.

Commuters now have more options when they take one of Pace's two bus routes from Plainfield to Chicago.

Route 755, which travels Monday through Friday from the Park-N-Ride on Village Center Drive to Chicago’s Union Station, recently added two new stops.

Riders can now get on or off the bus at Harrison/Halsted and Damen/Roosevelt in Chicago.

Other stops along the route include the Old Chicago Park-N-Ride in Bolingbrook, the CTA’s Pink Line station on Damen and Racine/Harrison in Chicago. The first bus departs Plainfield at 5:10 a.m. weekdays and the last outbound bus returns to the village at 6:18 p.m.

The additional stops are the latest change for Plainfield commuters. Last fall, Gov. Pat Quinn signed new legislation that to help speed up the inbound and outbound commute on weekdays.
