Volunteers Needed to Fill Sandbags in Anticipation of Flooding
If you're interested in helping, go to the Public Works Department this afternoon.
The Plainfield Emergency Management Agency is seeking volunteers to help fill sandbags this afteroon in antcipation of flooding that could result from storms predicted to move through the area tonight and tomorrow, Sgt. Heidi Kelly said.
Work began at 2 p.m. If interested, go to the Plainfield Public Works Department at 14400 Coil Plus Drive, off of 143rd Street and Van Dyke Road.
