Canonization Celebration for Blesseds John XXIII and John Paul II
Sunday, April 27 at 8:30 a.m.

Pope Francis will declare two of his predecessors saints with a Holy Mass and double Canonization Ceremony in St. Peter’s Square on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 27.  At St. Mary Immaculate Parish, we will celebrate the Canonization of Blesseds John 23rd and John Paul II all morning through early afternoon with the Canonization service streaming from 8:30 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. in the Gym.

At 10:15 a.m. a Multilingual Prayer Service in Spanish, Italian, Polish and English will be held, also in the Gym.  Fellowship will run throughout the event, first with coffee, donuts and fruit, then an Italian/Polish Potluck starting at 10:30 a.m.  Those interested in contributing to the potluck are asked to please contact Laura VanHam at 815-436-2651 ext. 887.

Everyone is invited to stop in and join us to watch the ceremony, offer prayers, and enjoy food and fellowship as we celebrate with millions of people around the world on this joyous and historic occasion!
