Free Concert Performance of Plainfield's Carillon

Families, children, and ALL ARE WELCOME!

Come, celebrate a beautiful summer evening with a free concert performance of Plainfield's carillon!

Our guest carillonneur is Tim Sleep, City of Naperville Carillonneur and current president of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America. Mr. Sleep has arranged several musical pieces for Plainfield UMC's carillon from Bach to Scott Joplin to Rodgers & Hammerstein.

Chicago St. between Illinois & Des Plaines will be closed for concertgoers' outdoor seating. Tables and chairs will be available.
  • Bring your own folding lawn chair for your personal comfort.
  • Drinks, such as iced tea and punch, will be served for free.
  • Please feel free to bring your dinner to eat outside.
  • Indoor listening with video feed will also be available.
  • Bubbles, sidewalk chalk, etc. will be available for children.
