Patriotic Picnic and Fireworks

FREE FUN for the Entire Family!
Bike Parade • Big Trike Races • Inflatables • Play Zone • Military Organizations Face Painting • Touch-a-Truck • Dance performance and the Little Obie Train. • DJ and the retiring of the colors led by the American Legion.

Kids’ Patriotic Bike Parade!
Children can decorate their bikes, big wheels, wagons, scooters
(non-motorized), etc. with red, white and blue decorations and
show off their American pride!
A limited supply of decorations will be available.

Positive Messages for the Troops!
Join us in writing positive greetings in supplied
holiday cards for deployed heroes!

6p:     Raising of the Flag followed by decorating of bikes
6:30p    Kids’ Patriotic Bike Parade
7p:     Dance Performance by Park District Dance Team
8:15p:     Balloon Pop Contest for ages 3-5
8:30p:     Toilet Paper Unravel Contest for ages 6-10
8:45p:     Bubble Gum Blowing Contest ages 11-16
9p:     Retire the Colors

Bring your blankets, picnic baskets, lawn chairs and coolers.
Concessions will be provided by the Plainfield Central High School
Athletics Booster Club.
(Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on school property.)
