The small 4-string wonder, more commonly known as the
‘ukulele’, has been growing in popularity through pop and rock music over the
past year. PM Music Center has grown with the trend in carrying a wide selection
of the instrument as well as hosting group classes and private instruction for
eager uke enthusiasts.  For the third year
in a row, Wednesday July 30th, we are inviting the public into our
store for a free night of ukulele strumming, refreshments, and frozen-themed
fun!

Under the instruction of Kevin Presbrey, local ukulele
teacher and performer, friends and family are encouraged to come out for a free
night of basic chords, strumming technique, and even to learn a song or
two.  Whether you have a ukulele and have
played forever, or just want to come out and rent one for the event to play
along with the crowd, it will be a great night of music and a wonderful way to
support the local music scene here in Aurora,
Illinois.

We encourage students and parents of any age to join us for
this spectacular event.  The instruction
will start at 6:30pm at our Fox Valley location in Aurora, just outside the Fox Valley
Mall.  Refreshments will be served at 5:30
for anyone who wants to come early and gear up for a wonderful night of
learning and playing at PM Music Center.
