Bold Solutions Start with You

I have sent a survey to 25,000 voters to hear what they think. Bold solutions is what it is going to take to make Illinois a great state again.

I am running to represent you as your state senator in the newly formed 49th district. As a successful small businessman, my life would be much easier and prosperous if I were to stay out of politics. I decided I could not stand idly by while self-interested elected officials slowly destroyed my home state.

Illinois is strategically located in the center of the country. We have more river, rail and roadways than anywhere in the region. We have some of the finest, hardworking citizens in the world. Yet, we rank near or at the bottom in every economic category.

In the past 10 years, 750,000 more people chose to leave this state than move into it. Since the tax increase last January, we have lost nearly 100,000 jobs. Unemployment is above the national average, and we are virtually bankrupt.

The problem is our leadership has failed us. They have created a system that rewards "who you know" instead of "what you know." The rules are slanted to protect incumbents, who have more interest in padding their bank accounts than fixing our problems.

I plan on being part of the solution. I have bold proposals that solve problems, make government more efficient and actually improve government services. I will be holding town hall meetings to talk about those solutions, but I NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU. I have always believed the most important office in a democracy is that of citizen, which is why I mailed a survey to 25,000 likely voters in the district.

PLEASE FILL OUT THE SURVEY! If you have not received one, or misplaced it, you can request one at info@peck4senate.com with Patch Survey in the subject line. Feel free to stop by my campaign office at 14912 Eastern Ave., Plainfield, IL 60544. Or give me a call at 815-298-1230 and I will come speak with you and your neighbors directly.

Together, we can make Illinois great again!
