Ride Janie Ride (RJR) will be holding it's 6th annual fundraiser to raise money for families with children who have cancer who have incurred immense medical bills not covered by insurance. This year, one of the three children selected is a Plainfield resident, 5 year old Maxwell Donnelly. Maxwell has been battling leukemia since age 2.
The event consists of a motorcycle ride originating in Villa Park at Wild Fire Harley-Davidson and ends at BallyDoyle Pub in Aurora, where raffles and auctions will take place to raise money. You can ride, or just attend the after-ride party, or both.
Please consult the website at www.ridejanieride.org, or look up RJR on Facebook for all details: exact times, admission, etc under: Ride Janie Ride 2012.
