20th Annual National Letter Carriers Food Drive

On Saturday, May 12, Join forces with IL letter carriers to Stamp Out Hunger across America to provide assitance to the millions of Americans who are struggling to put food on their tables every day. Now in it's 20th year, the Stamp Out Humger effort is the nation's largest single-day food drive.

Sponsors include: Campbell Soup, Feeding America, Valpak, The National Rural Letter Carrier's Assoc., the AFL-CIO, the United Way, the U.S. Postal Service, National Assoc. of Letter Carriers and Uncle Bob's Self Storage.

To participate in the Stamp Out Hunger drive, quad county residents are encouraged to leave a sturdy bag containing non-perishable foods, such as canned soup and vegetables, pasta, and rice or cereal next to their mailbox prior to the time of regular mail delivery on Saturday, May 12. Local letter carriers will collect these food donations as they deliver the mail and take them to neighborhood food pantries in Aurora and surrounding areas.
