Jersey Mike's Fundraiser Supports Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation

All 20 Chicagoland Jersey Mike's Restaurants will participate in a fundraiser for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

Twenty percent of proceeds from June 6 will go to the organization.

Statistics from the National Institutes for Health, show idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis affects 200,000 Americans and is a disease that causes the lung tissue to become thickened, stiff and scarred. About 40,000 people die each year from pulmonary fibrosis, the same statistic as those with breast cancer. There is no treatment and no cure.
