Kiwanis Club of Plainfield Press Release

The Kiwanis Club of Plainfield works to support not just children, but the whole Plainfield Community in different ways.  Each year we actively participate and support the Plainfield Interfaith Food Pantry, Park District and provide scholarships to graduating Seniors.  This is just a few things we support and give contributions.

Our Corporate “Peanut Days” fund raising program is here again.  This is one of the major fund raising activities our club engages in each year and the needs are greater this year than ever before.

Saturday, September  17th and Sunday, September 18th at the Jewel-Osco (Route 59 & Caton Farm Road),  Walmart (Route 59 & Black St. right by Target) we are looking for donations.  A letter went out to local businesses in support of this cause.  They have the option of purchasing a case for $40.00.  If you are interested in purchasing a case please have your order in by Friday, September 23.  For more inquiries, please contact Jeff Wey at 815-436-9864.
