Shred Day to Benefit the Plainfield Food Pantry

The Plainfield Food Pantry will be the benefactor of a community-wide fundraising effort to be held at Citizens First National Bank, 14429 S. Wallin Dr., on June 11, 2011 from 10 a.m. to noon. All donations received during the event will be given to the Food Pantry.

Citizens First National Bank will be hosting a Shred Day with on-site shredding of personal records. Residents are invited to bring up to two paper boxes of bills, checks, statements – even computer discs – to be “fed” to the Shred X truck which will be parked in the bank’s lot.

In addition, several other local businesses will also be on hand offering special services to help raise funds for the Food Pantry.
