The Friends of the Plainfield Public Library's annual book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday at the library. New and used fiction and nonfiction books will be sold, and all money raised will fund items the library would not otherwise have been able to purchase. The library will also be selling "Go Green" bags to carry book purchases. Every public, private and home school teacher will be allowed to select one book free of charge.
