Liberty Tax Office Collecting Tornado Relief Supplies Wednesday

Items can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Liberty Tax offices in Plainfield, 16310 S. Lincoln Highway (next to the Plainfield Moose Lodge), will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday to serve as a drop-off spot for supplies.

Supplies will be delivered to shelters and churches housing victims in Washington, Illinois, on Nov. 21, according to David Rocci, who owns Liberty Tax offices in Plainfield, Shorewood and Bolingbrook.

"I volunteered last night in Coal City and the outpouring of human compassion in the area is touching," Rocci said. "It's amazing how communities can come together in time of crisis."
