Plainfield South Softball Star Medo Signs to Play at USF

Submitted by Bulls/Sox Academy:

The Bulls/Sox Academy is proud to announce that White Sox 18U Gold fastpitch team member and Plainfield South HS standout, Lena Medo, signed a national letter of intent to play for the University of St. Francis continuing her softball career into college.

“Angelina 'Lena' Medo is a complete player and a fierce competitor.  Lena is the type of player that you want at the plate with the game on the line,” said Bulls/Sox Academy Director of Fastpitch Operations Kathy Young.  “She handles pressure very well and will definitely make an impact at Saint Francis University. Coach Jensen is getting a great student-athlete that can play up the middle or behind the plate.”
