Plainfield Students' Artwork Chosen for JJC Exhibit
The art is on display through Friday at the JJC main campus.
Fifteen District 202 high school student artists were invited to exhibit their works, and three from Plainfield South High School received an Award of Excellence for their achievement in the “2013 Joliet Junior College Area High School Art Exhibition.”
In all, 23 area high schools submitted 112 pieces of art for this year’s exhibit. The exhibit is featured in the Laura A. Sprague Art Gallery at Joliet Junior College-Main Campus. It runs through Dec. 13.
A Certificate of Recognition was awarded to all students whose work was selected for the exhibit. In addition, the full-time JJC studio art faculty recognized 18 students for outstanding achievement.
