The Plainfield Lions Club helped usher in the holiday season with the 62nd annual lighting of its Nativity scene at Plymouth Congregational Church, 24022 W. Lockport St. in downtown Plainfield.
The event, which coincided with the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce's Candlelight Christmas/Small Business Saturday, isn't the only holiday fun to be had in Plainfield.
