Siegel's Adds Interactive Zombie Paintball Ride to HalloweenHaunt

In addition to its famous Statesville Haunted Prison, Siegel's Cottonwood Farm has a new Halloween attraction.

Guests can climb aboard an Army troop transport truck and travel into the dark woods to try their skills at taking out infected "zombies" with slime paintballs.

The Statesville Zombie Farm Paintball ride takes thrillseekers on an interactive, half-mile adventure to shoot at lives zombies (and other surprises).

Participants are armed with semi-automatic paintball guns and try to survive the ride through a series of scenes designed to test rapid fire skills. The goal? Shoot the zombies before they eat you. A family friendly ride is offered during the day on weekends now through Oct. 27 as part of Cottonwood Farm's PumpkinFest 2013.

The Zombie Farm paintball ride is also open at night through Nov. 2 while the haunted prison and City of the Dead haunted houses are in operation. Describes as "aggressive nighttime experiences," Statesville Haunted Prison and the City of the Dead are not intended for children.

Dates: Oct. 10, 11, 12, 13, 17,18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31 and Nov. 1 and 2
