What Plainfield Restaurants Are Open on Thanksgiving?

Not having a big family gathering for Thanksgiving, or just don't feel like cooking? Why not dine out?
Patch did some research and made some calls and found several Plainfield eateries that are open on turkey day. If there's a business we missed, feel free to add it in the comment box below.
Quite a few chain restaurants — albeit without Plainfield locations — are open for the Thanksgiving:
Editor's note: Although Larry's Diner, 24522 W. Lockport St., is well known for hosting an annual turkey dinner for senior citizens, the event will NOT take place this year, according to the owner.
- Bob Evans, 12618 Route 59, is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature a special holiday menu.
- Durbin's of Plainfield, 16031 S. Lincoln Highway, is offering a turkey dinner for $15.95 per adult and $8.95 for kids.
- Plainfield's Delight, 24020 W. 119th St., is open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Southern Belle's, 15051 S. Van Dyke Rd., opens at 6 a.m. but may close early (typical closing time is 3 p.m.). Call ahead if you plan to go.
