Jubilaté 2013- Singin’ In The Rain

JCA's annual fundraiser will be held on March 9th, 2013 at the Bolingbrook Golf Club.

What’s in a name? From 1976 through 1985, it was Jubilation featuring  local talent which brought together, parents, alumni and the community for an evening of entertainment.  Since 1986, it has been known as Jubil-Auction and Jubilaté which includes an evening of dinner, dancing, auctions and revelry. Entering its 28th year, Joliet Catholic Academy continues the celebration with Jubilaté.

This year, the annual fundraising event will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club beginning at 6 pm. This year’s theme is Singin’ in the Rain and from the time you arrive you will experience “that glorious feelin’ and be happy again.”

Laurie (Rohder ’84) & Rob Bauer and Mary & Dan Whalen (’84) are the chaircouples, with a group of over 70 volunteer parents assisting the Bauers and Whalens as committee members. Profits realized from the event go toward JCA’s operating budget, which directly benefits our JCA students.

Christine Voss, Director of Special Events, anticipates 500 people in attendance.  Reservations are welcome through March 4, while raffle tickets can be purchased until the drawing on March 9 (cash prize of $10,000). “This annual fundraising event brings the JCA family together to have a good time,” Voss said.  “Through the efforts of many donors, JCA students derive the benefits of a faith-filled education.”

Our JCA students, faculty and staff, along with the Jubilaté Committee, invite you to take part in this fun-filled event. This  is JCA’s major fundraising effort which solely benefits our outstanding student body.   Angels and Hillmen are counting on your support.  For detailed information, please contact Christine Voss at 815-741-0500 or visit www.jubilate.jca-online.org

We welcome everyone to come out, bring your umbrellas and tap shoes, and “Sing in the Rain!”
