Blue-Silver Community Bash @ OEHS

Come out to enjoy a fun evening with the whole family on Friday, August 23 from 4-8 PM at Oswego East High School!  We are kicking off the school year with our annual Blue-Silver Community Bash, sponsored by the OE Wolf Parents and OEHS Sports Boosters.  Our goal is to bring family, students and community together.

We have a jam packed schedule of events! Here you will find some of the highlights:

Scrimmages to include the Oswego Bears Youth Tackle Football starting at 4:30.  You'll also see all levels of football, soccer, tennis and volleyball.  Bring your tennis racket and play against some of our student athletes.  We're bringing alumni volleyball players back to scrimmage the sophomore & varsity teams.

You'll enjoy performances by the OEHS Marching Band and Spotlight Choir, along with the cheer and dance teams.

Catch the TARC Rocket Team as they demonstrate a rocket launch, or the Robotics Team and their frisbee throwing robot demo.

Some of your favorite District 308 Mascots will be in attendance and will compete around the track.  Cheer on the Mavericks, Mustangs, Wolves, Grizzlies and Huskies!

Stop by the Kid Zone for the Moon Jump, Hi Striker, Put for Par or Chipping contest, Softball Speed Pitch or Baseball throwing contests.  Try to dunk an OEHS staff member!

Concessions & OEHS Wolf Gear will be available along with many community vendors with specials.  We'll be kicking off our Pies for Prom with Market Day.

Come out and test drive a Ford!  Hennessey Ford will donate $20 per test drive in their Drive One 4 UR school fundraiser. It’s free to the test drivers–with no cost and no pressure. Only big money for our school, Ford will donate up to $6,000! The Drive One 4 UR School program was developed as a fun, engaging way to help high schools raise money to support their sports and extracurricular activities. Ford and Lincoln Mercury Dealerships partner with local high schools to conduct test-drive fund raising events. Please come out and support our student athletes in this easy and fun way. You only need to show up and test drive a Ford vehicle.

This will be the 3rd annual Drive One event that Ford has conducted at Oswego East. Over the last two years we have raised just under $15,000 as a result of the program. This year our goal is to raise upwards of $7,000 for Oswego East.

There will be lots to do!  We hope to see everyone come out and support our school community.

We would like to thank the many sponsors of the event:
