Employer refuses to pay employee wages earned

Is it too much to ask for an employer to pay for wages earned according to Illinois/Federal law? Rock Tax Team, LLC d/b/a Liberty Tax Service in Plainfield on Rt. 30 received a letter from my attorney written March 25, 2013 informing him that he failed to pay me properly. The letter informed the owner, David Rocci, that the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act required that he pay me overtime for any hours over 40 in a week. In one week alone, I was scheduled to work 59 hours. Yet, to this day, Mr. Rocci refuses to pay me according to the law. Still waiting for my paycheck. It's been almost a year!
