Letter: C.A.P.E. Names Plainfield Parade Float Winners, Thanks Judges

Judges named first-, second- and third-place winners in Saturday's homecoming float contest.

C.A.P.E. (Coordination of Administration and Parents Groups for Educational Efficiency) announced the following winners in the 2012 Community Homecoming Parade:

Spirit Award

  • Alumni Class of 1982

Elementary schools

  • First place: Thomas Jefferson
  • Second: Charles Reed
  • Third: Wesmere

Middle schools

  • First place: JFK
  • Second: Indian Trails
  • Third: Aux Sable

High schools

  • First place: Plainfield South FLoat #43
  • Second: Plainfield Central 
  • Third: Plainfield North Float #101

 61st Plainfield Homecoming Parade Judges 

The theme of this years parade was “Super Heroes”, because of this we picked some judges that people consider to be everyday heroes. On behalf of the Alumni and C.A.P.E Organization, I would like to thank them for the help and commitment to the old school spirit.
