Letter to the Editor: School District Needs You

An invitation to the Lemont-Bromberek District 113A Community

Dear Community Member,

This fall, the Board of Education will undertake a strategic planning process for Lemont-Bromberek School District 113A. The planning process will help us:

  • Assess the work we do to help students prepare for success in high school, college and career choices,
  • Determine our priorities as we build for the future of education,
  • Understand community expectations for student achievement and development, and
  • Make decisions on how to use our resources to support district and community priorities.

You and your neighbors are encouraged to be a part of the planning conversation.  Small and large group conversations will be held throughout the forums so participants can offer thoughts and ask questions. (Participate as much as your schedule permits.)  To share your ideas, please join us in one or more of the community forums listed below:

Community Forum 1: Saturday, Nov. 3, 8:30 a.m. – noon. (Focus: District 113A successes and challenges; what the future holds for education.
