Plainfield Park District June 12 mtng--PLEASE ATTEND!

Items B and D in section XII are especially troubling. One is about setting policy for public comments at meetings (the AG's office is looking at their record on the Open Meetings Act and it's clear that some of the current board is contemptuous of the taxpayers voicing opinions and they already don't take questions, ever). The other regards buying a new (unnecessary?) pool car (for Garrett Peck's sole use and not at all for the district "pool"?). Those are just a couple of the striking and odd agenda items, you may find others after you read it. Please try your best to attend the meeting and give the board and your fellow citizens your views.
