Tired of being OVERTAXED by our school district! They need to CUT spending like everyone else! We own property in Southern Illinois near Carbondale and our taxes down their are trivial compared to here! Yes we have paved roads, city services and good schools as well, not the Taj Mahals we have built up here! Sad to say it - but our teachers near Carbondale do just as well with their students as the teaches do up here for much less pay! The school board need a major shakeup to ENFORCE further Tax cuts rather than the continued hikes!
