Plainfield to Host Interfaith Indoor Farmers Market

Come experience the bounty of winter at the Indoor Farmers Market this Saturday, Feb. 9th.

Longing to get out of the house as winter drags on? Dreaming of the garden and fresh tomatoes? Counting down the days to the plentiful summer farmers markets? While summer is still months away, Plainfield United Methodist Church is excited to host the next best thing this Saturday, February 9th: an Indoor Winter Farmers Market!

Plainfield UMC is hosting this one-time event for Faith in Place, a Chicago-based interfaith organization that works to give people of all faith backgrounds the "tools to become good stewards of the earth."

Come shop locally-produced breads, spices, canned vegetables, jams, meats, cheeses, and more. Then, kick up our feet, relax by the fire, and indulge in some complimentary refreshments to warm your soul.

Children are welcome and can shop along or participate in a supervised activity just down the hall from the market while parents enjoy a leisurely shopping experience.

Bring your friends and neighbors to this exciting community event. We hope to see you there!
