Daniel Plan (Healthy Living Series) Returns to Plainfield UMC

The popular program, The Daniel Plan, is returning to Plainfield United Methodist Church this April.  In this six-week healthy living series, participants will make use of "The Essentials" of the program - Faith, Food, Fitness, Focus, and Friends - in order to create a community with the goal of working towards living a healthier, balanced lifestyle.

The Daniel Plan is unlike most "diet" programs.  The overarching message of The Daniel Plan is about abundance, not deprivation. The Daniel Plan teaches a step-by-step approach and offers simple ways to incorporate healthy choices into your current lifestyle. The program is faith-based and designed to help participants learn to be better stewards of their own health - mind, body and spirit.

Two options are available for participation.  One group will meet on Friday evenings (beginning April 4th) and the second will meet on Sunday mornings (beginning April 6th) during Plainfield UMC's regular Sunday school hour.  Nursery care and children's Sunday school options are available during the Sunday morning session.

There is no cost to register, but participants are responsible for purchasing their own study guide (and other books if applicable) before the first meeting.

Please visit Plainfield UMC's website to learn more and to complete the required registration for this popular program.
