Driver Injured in Second I-55 Rollver

Illinois State Police said a pickup truck rolled over, coming to rest in the center lane on northbound I-55 near Renwick Road.

Hours after two cars were involved in a rollover crash near Route 126, the driver of a pickup truck was injured in a similar accident on northbound Interstate 55 near Renwick Road.

Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Martez Malone said it's still unclear what caused the single-car crash around 1:38 p.m.

"It was a pickup truck that rolled over and came to rest in the center lane," Malone said. A trailer attached to the truck remained upright, police said.
