  • Stratton said the crash happened as the man drove southbound on Naperville-Plainfield Road near 127th Street at about 7:30 a.m. He said the man lost control of the vehicle, which rolled over and came to rest on its roof.

No extrication was necessary, and the man was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for the injury to his hand, Stratton said.

According to Stratton, reports from some news outlets about a reported crash at Route 30 and 111th Street early Thursday were unfounded.
