Man Rolls Pickup Truck at Drauden and Caton Farm: Police

The 19-year-old man was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, Joliet police said.

A 19-year-old man en route to Joliet Junior College Thursday morning took a corner too quickly and ended up rolling his pickup truck, Joliet Police Cmdr. Al Roechner said.

The man was southbound on Drauden Road, attempting to turn east onto Caton Farm Road, at about 7:05 a.m., Roechner said. His speed caused him to fishtail and strike a curb, resulting in the truck rolling over, he said.

The driver, whose identity was not available because reports were not complete, was not injured. He was, however, ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
