Men Caught on Camera Injuring Dry Cleaners Owner: Police

Police are asking for help IDing the suspects.

Joliet police are asking for help identifying two men caught on surveillance video running into a Caton Farm Road dry cleaners and intentionally knocking the owner into a steam machine, injuring him.

The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. Nov. 22, at All Cleaners, 4702 Caton Farm Rd. in Plainfield, according to police. The video clip shows two men, one in a black Nike sweatshirt and baseball cap and the other in a red hoodie.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact Detective german or the Joliet Police Department Investigations Division at 815-724-3029.

I know the photos aren't that clear, but don't these 2 look somewhat like the 2 teens that were just arrested for stealing a car and causing vandalism and throwing rocks in another Patch article?? Not far from Caton Farm and County Line.

Pretty brazen little sh*ts. What was the motive for this? Thankfully the owner was not severely burned, at least I hope not. It's this kind of behavior that makes concealed carry more and more appealing to the public. They wouldn't be so tough looking down the barrel of a Glock 19.
