Missing 84-Year-Old Man May Have Been Driving to Naperville

Eugene Jonsson, 84, was last seen by family members in Arlington Heights Thursday night. He was observed asking for directions early Friday morning in Kendall County.

Missing Arlington Heights man, 84-year-old Eugene Jonnson was last seen by family members when he left the area before 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 22. 

Arlington Heights police received information that he was spotted in Kendall County in Yorkville, IL, at 12:45 a.m., August 23, 2013 when he asked an individual for directions to Ogden Ave. and Route 59 in Naperville, IL.

Jonnson was reported missing at 2:50 a.m. on August 23 by a family member. 

He was driving a a gray 2004 Buick LeSabre 4-door, bearing Illinois license plate JONS507. 

Jonnson is described as a male Caucasian, 84-years old, standing 5’10” and weighing 190 pounds, with gray, balding hair and blue eyes. He normally wears eyeglasses.

Police do not believe foul play is involved, but urge the public's help due to Jonnson's apparent confused state of mind and age.
