Naperville Police Investigating How Officer Got Car Stuck on Boulder

Naperville police are investigating how one of their own police officers managed to get a squad car stuck atop a decorative boulder at a Taco Bell, 2775 Aurora Ave., about noon on Monday, according to the Naperville Sun.

Naperville police said the officer was turning around in the parking lot of the fast-food restaurant when he "over-steered" and drove over the curb and ended up "almost precisely atop the boulder's peak," according to the article.

The incident has been forwarded to the Internal Affairs Unit for further investigation, which is standard procedure for all crashes involving police officers, according to the Naperville Sun.
