Oak Forest Man Killed In Romeoville Crash Identified

Ahmad Bader, 67, was involved in a three-car crash Wednesday morning.

The man killed in a Wednesday morning crash in Romeoville has been identified as Ahmad A. Bader, a 67-year-old Oak Forest resident, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

Bader was killed when his eastbound Kia Rio crossed the center line on Renwick near Rankin Road and struck a westbound Pace minibus, according to police. The Kia then struck another eastbound vehicle.

Bader was taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, where he was pronounced dead shortly after noon Wednesday, according to the coroner.

Police said three other people — a 44-year-old Plainfield man, a 57-year-old from Pembroke Township man and a 64-year-old Romeoville woman — were also taken to St. Joe's, where they were treated for injuries and released.
