Plainfield Blotter: Battery, DUI Arrests

Arrests reported by Plainfield police, other agencies.

June 13

Daniel Jirus, 38, of the 14000 block of Meadow, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the county jail on a charge of domestic battery, according to jail records.

June 14

Raymond Gomez, 55, of the 2000 block of Winding Lakes, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on a charge of battery, police said.


May 31

Eric Kaad, 47, of the 11000 block of Highland Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. by Plainfield police at 127th Street and 248th Avenue on a local battery charge and charge of criminal damage to property, police said.

May 28

Paul Durys, 20, of the 24000 block of Primrose, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:08 a.m. at Evon Street and Golden Sunset Drive and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, possession of 30 grams or less of cannabis, possession of drug equipment and criminal damage to property, police said.

Margarita Kastrati, 34, of the 13000 block of Millbank, Plainfield, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. by Plainfield police at BP, 13500 S. Route 59, on a local battery charge, police said.

May 9

Scott Burns, 39, of the 11000 block of Century Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 8:09 p.m. at 248th Avenue and Millennium Parkway and charged with DUI, police said.
