Plainfield Blotter: Burglar Steals Jewelry; Theft Arrests

Arrests and incidents reported by Plainfield police, Will County Sheriff's police.


Oct. 10


Taylor Morphew, 18, of the 200 block of Prairie Ridge Drive, Minooka, was arrested by Plainfield police at 7:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of Vicarage Drive and charged with theft of $500 or less, according to police.

Oct. 15


Erin Davis, 27, of the 25000 block of Ross Lane, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 5:32 p.m. at Walmart, 12690 S. Route 59, and charged with retail theft, police said.

Oct. 24


Someone broke into a home in the 0-100 block of Washington Court, Plainfield, and stole jewelry, according to Will County Sheriff's police.
