Plainfield Blotter: Burglary, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

Jeffrey Griffith, 42, of the 24000 block of Renwick Road, Plainfield, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's police and booked into the county jail on a charge of domestic battery, police said.

Michael Slaboszewski, 21, of the 24000 block of Illini, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of burglary, resisting a peace officer and criminal trespassing, according to jail records.

May 28

Alexander Stryczula, 34, of the 0-100 block of Lydia Road, Addison, was arrested by Plainfield police and taken to the Will County jail on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, police said. According to the Illinois Sex Offender registry, Stryczula was convicted in Cook County on child porn charges.
