Plainfield Blotter: Cannabis Charges, Domestic Battery

Arrests reported by Plainfield police.

March 7

Garrett Smith, 49, of the 24000 block of Commercial Street, Plainfield, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. at Renwick Road and Route 59 and charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, hit and run and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

March 27

William Ash, 31, of the 14000 block of Maple Court, Plainfield, was arrested at 10:29 a.m. at Champion Drive and Route 59 on an in-state warrant, police said.

March 31

Elise Cairo, 18, of the 2000 block of Crosswind Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 2 a.m. in the 23000 block of Redwing and charged with possession of 30 grams or less of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment, police said.

Aaron Cantleberry, 19, of the 23000 block of Redwing, Plainfield, was arrested at 2 a.m. at his home and charged with domestic battery, delivery of more than 30 grams of cannabis, interference with emergency communication, possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis and possession of drug equipment, police said.
