Plainfield Blotter: Car Stolen on Christmas Eve

Dec. 24

Delia Montoya, 35, of the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's Police at 119th Street and Wolf Road and charged with driving without a valid license and speeding, police said.

Someone stole a silver 2005 Buick LaCrosse in the 21000 block of Franklin Circle in unincorporated Plainfield.

Dec. 28

Monico Favela, 18, of the 100 block of Wedgeport Circle, Romeoville, was arrested by WillCounty Sheriff's police and charged with driving on a suspended license and driving an uninsured vehicle, according to police.

Plainfield Police report that a Officer stopped a vehicle for doing 45 in a 35 zone. The driver of the vehicle had a valid DL, insurance, and proper registration. The driver did not have a odor of alcohol on his breath nor had he been drinking. The Officer is recovering after fainting at the scene.
