Plainfield Blotter: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Drugs

Arrests reported by Plainfield police.

July 6

Daniel Szwajkowski, 26, of the 600 block of Jackson, Batavia, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. at Riverwalk Court and Route 59 and charged with DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

July 9

Victor Franchi, 36, of the 24000 block of of Brown Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. at 143rd Street and Route 30 and charged with DUI, failure to signal and traffic sign violations, police said.

July 14

Mohammad Alsubagh, 18, of the 2000 block of Kentland, Romeoville, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. at Illinois Street and Lockport Street and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, failure to signal, improper lane use and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.
