Plainfield Blotter: DUI, Fence Cut at ComEd

Arrests and incidents reported by Plainfield police, other agencies.

Jan. 24

Otisha Luckey, 26, of the 200 block of Kingery Quarters, Hinsdale, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:27 p.m. at 119th Street and Route 59 and charged with driving without a valid license and driving an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Gwen Merker, 57, of the 100 block of Acacia Drive, Indian Head Park, was arrested at 11:27 p.m. at 119th Street and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Jan. 28

Someone cut an section of a six-foot perimeter fence at the ComEd facility at 24050 Wolfs Crossing Rd. in Wheatland Township, police said. Nothing appeared to be missing, disturbed or tampered with, according to Will County Sheriff's Police. Investigators are reviewing video surveillance.
