May 24

Alexey Dementiev, 52, of the 11000 block of Glenn Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Oswego police and Wolf Road and Route 30 and charged with DUI and improper lane use, police said.

May 4

James Guiseffi, 45, of the 8500 block of Oketo Avenue, Bridgeview, was arrested by Plainfield police at 2:19 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and Spangler Road, and charged with DUI, failure to signal, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and improper lighting, police said.

Michelle Baker, 41, of the 100 block of West Calendar Court, LaGrange, was arrested by Plainfield police at 2:19 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and Spangler Road and charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer, police said.

We wish that more motorists would take time to check their lights now and then. Everyday we see so many with non-working taillights, brake lights, or headlamps! Don't these people care that their vehicle is unsafe?
