Plainfield Blotter: Human Waste, Beer Cans, Chicken Bones Found in Vacant Home

Arrests and incidents reported by Plainfield police, other agencies.

Nov. 12

Someone entered an unoccupied home in the 500 block of Book Road in Wheatland Township and littered it with beer cans, cigarette butts and chicken bones, according to Will County Sheriff's police. Damage was also found throughout the home with holes in the drywall, human waste and smoke from the cigarettes, police said.

Nov. 20

Jesus Salgado, 26, of the 700 block of Fourth Avenue, Aurora, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:04 a.m. at 143rd Street and Route 59 and charged with possession of 30 grams or less of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, cancelled, suspended or revoked registration, illegal transportation of alcohol and no valid license, police said.

Nov. 21

Jacqueline Moriarty, 23, of the 24000 block of Joseph Avenue, Plainfield, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Nov. 23

Samuel Gibson, 36, of the 1300 block of Crabapple Court, Naperville, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of domestic battery and criminal trespassing, according to jail records.
