Plainfield Blotter: Man Accused of Obstructing Justice, Making Threats

Arrests reported by Plainfield police, other agencies.

Mary Bartusiak, 43, of the 16000 block of Edgewood in Plainfield was arrested by Plainfield police at 9:58 p.m. at a different address in the 16000 block of Edgewood and charged with criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer, police said. On Aug. 15, police reports show that Bartusiak was again arrested, this time at her home, and charged with sale, gift or delivery of alcohol to persons under age 21.

Nicholas J. O'Neill, 24, of the 3200 block of Kenilworth in Berwyn was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of failure to notify the owner of an unattended vehicle of damage, resisting a peace officer, obstructing justice/destroying evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal transportation of alcohol and threatening a public official, according to jail records.
