Plainfield Blotter: Man Charged with Battery at Walmart

Jan. 13

Cody Richer, 19, of the 23000 block of Cahills Way, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:34 p.m. at a business in the 15000 block of Route 59 and charged with retail theft, police said.

Jan. 6

Lavoil Murray, 20, of the 500 block of Barrington Court in University Park, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. at Walmart, 12690 S. Route 59, and charged with retail theft, police said.

Jan. 2

Jacob Gansz, 18, of the 24000 block of Prairie Grove Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. at 135th Street and Route 30 and charged with possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis, police said.

Jordan Collier, 19, of the 13000 block of Tiger Lily Lane, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. at 135th Street and Route 59 and charged with possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Dec. 26

Ryan Fiala, 30, of the 24000 block of Walnut Circle, Plainfield, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. at Walmart, 12690 S. Route 59, and charged with battery, police said.
