I don't know if any of you have State Farm for your insurance, but they announced last week that they're raising their car insurance rates by 2.5%. I'm sick of it already. If someonre can afford to drive a car they should be able to afford insurance. I'm sure that the 2.5% increase is partly because of uninsured drivers & from what I read in the patch, there are many.

We need a president who doesn't think that socialism is the answer to our nations problems. Socialism only works until the people paying for it run out of money. Hell, even our own politicians here are dumbfounded that Plainfield residents are filling up their cars outside of Plainfield yet they keep the gas tax where it's at. Is there any adult supervision in government anymore?

It makes no difference to me what color or what gender or what sexual orientation the president is/has. We truly need a qualified president who isn't narrow minded on only certain platforms and ideas and one who doesn't have a spouse who's more concerned with weight issues that are much less important than literacy and intelligence issues in this country. Obamacare is discriminatory....it helps those who can't afford health care and discriminates against those who are paying for something they'll never see..the hardworking American citizen. We need a president who will make people work for what they have instead of encouraging free handouts and also put a cap on those freebies. I mean how many children should one pay for besides their own??? We need a president who isn't going to dictate who you or I should be helping with our tax dollars. We need a president who isn't going to jump on the "whatever is popular" bandwagon. And please, to the next president, do not dumb yourself down using words such as "selfie". As soon as you begin to use slang, it insults the intelligence of many and leads to a reverse effect on this nation. Lead by example, which is top notch, gold standard. Nothing less.
