Someone removed the catalytic converter from a 2005 Sunbird while it was parked in the lot at The Crate Escape, 23901 W. Industrial Dr., according to Will County Sheriff's police.
Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 23000 block of Van Horn Lane and stole a laptop, wireless mouse, safe driver module and gym bag containing men's clothing, police said.
Someone stole a Minn Kota trolling motor, foot pedal and deep cell boat battery from Monroe Storage, 23640 Rolf Rd., according to Will County Sheriff's police.
Francis Linek, 29, of the 400 block of Van Gogh Circle, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Plainfield police at 1:14 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and the Frontage Road and charged with hit and run, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to notify of damage to an unattended vehicle.
Nicholas Munoz, 19, of the 1800 block of Innercircle Drive, Crest Hill; and Marcos Rodriguez, 19, of the 700 block of Chase Avenue in Joliet were arrested by Plainfield police at 9:10 p.m. at 143rd Street and Route 59 and charged with drag racing, police said.
