Plainfield Blotter: Woman Charged with Reckless Driving, Hit and Run

Also: Car burglaries, stolen truck reported by Will County Sheriff's Police.

Nov. 17

Tara Kinnaman, 31, of the 15000 block of James Street, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 10:18 a.m. at Renwick Road and Route 59 and charged with reckless driving, criminal damage to property, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, hit and run, driving an uninsured vehicle, other moving violations, other equipment violations and traffic signal violation, police said.

Dec. 3

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 20000 block of Boulder Drive in unincorporated Plainfield and stole two camouflage duffel bags containing binoculars and various items of clothing, according to Will County Sheriff's Police.

Dec. 5

An unknown person or persons entered the City Utility Equipment parking lot, 22414 S. 143rd St., and stole a white 2008 international tandem utility box truck, police said.

Someone broke into a garage storage shed in the 10000 block of Clow Creek Road and stole two snow blowers, a hedge trimmer, a pole hedge trimmer and a chain saw, according to police.
