Plainfield Fire Protection District firefighters recently had training on propane emergencies including fire involving a propane tank.
The class was taught by Diversified CPC of Channahon, along with certified fire service instructors. During the class various types of propane emergencies were reviewed and firefighters demonstrated how to control propane tank fires.
Propane for the class was supplied by Amerigas in Plainfield.
